A Man for All Seasons

A Man for All Seasons is one of the ten best movies ever made, and should be seen by every young person, and especially every young man, some time between his 14th and 16th birthdays. The movie's great theme is personal integrity, and the location of the lines that one must not cross at peril of losing his soul. If these questions, which pressed so hard on St Thomas More, have never troubled you, you will probably not like the film, in spite of its brilliant performances, and a portrayal of life near the powerful that is so realistic that it takes the breath away.
